In 2005, we started the Christmas season in Kelly's home, Dadeville, Alabama. We had the first session of Christmas at her parents home. The tradition has most of the aunt's, uncles, cousins, and grandparents (from her mothers side) all come over to exchange gifts and have a good time. The second session is a get-together for all the family from her fathers side. We went to her grandparents house for the food and more gift-giving.

While we were in Alabama, I got a little restless. That usually means some form of home-improvement project. Well lucky for me, Kelly's parents have some land that needed clearing. I got to hop up on the tractor and go bush-hoggin'. Basically, I drive through the woods and run over stuff. And YES, that is Kelly's mom driving the back-hoe - that's a real woman!
