Visiting Washing D.C. and the Baltimore
Harbor

In 2005, we decided to take a trip up to Washington D.C. and to Baltimore, Maryland.

The first few days we were there, we spent most of our time exploring Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

One of the first places we visited while we were there, was the National Aquarium in Baltimore

Here is a picture of the Aquarium from across Baltimore's Harbor.

Below are a few pictures of the exhibits for you to enjoy!

The aquarium also included a beautiful rainforest exhibit.  Here are a couple of pictures from that as well.
Once we were done exploring the aquarium, we walked through a sky bridge over to the dolphin exhibit.
Here is Adam striking a pose on the sky bridge.  If you click on the picture, you can see all of the ships docked in the harbor behind him.
Kelly decided to strike a pose on the sky bridge as well. In the background of this picture you can see an old factory that has been converted into a shopping center and office building.

This is just one of many buildings in Baltimore that has been revitalized in recent years.

Unfortunately for us, all of the dolphin shows had been canceled as a new baby calf had just been born.  The mother was busy nurturing the calf but the boy dolphins were busy entertaining anyone that would watch.

While we were exploring the Inner Harbor, we decided to walk up to Camden Yards and catch a Baltimore Orioles game.

The stadium is only a few blocks from water's edge and the breeze off of the harbor was amazing.

This picture is hard to see here, but it is the sign for Camden Yards.  We snapped this picture as we were walking to the stadium.
Here is a picture of inside the park before the game.
Here are the two of us enjoying the game.

After the Orioles game, we walked back down to the harbor and enjoyed a stroll along the docks at night.

Here are a couple of pictures we snapped along the way.

The section of the aquarium that is brightly lit is the rainforest exhibit.
